The IBTS has launched an urgent appeal for blood donors.
The organisation says supplies are extremely low so it is vital eligible blood donors make an appointment to attend this week's clinics if at all possible.
Donors are asked to ring 1850 731137 from 9am-5pm to make an appointment.
Where can blood donors find clinics in Waterford?
The IBTS has clinics at The Woodlands Hotel Waterford City today( Thursday November 4th), as well as November 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th.
The clinic will also be at Lawlor's Hotel, Dungarvan November 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th.

About the IBTS
The IBTS is the statutory body with responsibility for the national blood supply. It was established by Statutory Instrument in 1965. It also provides testing and tissue services to hospitals and is responsible for the Irish Unrelated Bone Marrow Registry.
