Update sought on Leamybrien traffic calming measures

An update has been sought on long awaited traffic calming measures in Leamybrien.
The issue was raised by Fine Gael Councillor Liam Brazil at the September Comeragh District meeting of Waterford Council.
“We were hoping this would be going to tender soon,” he said.
“It’s something that’s need badly in Leamybrien for safety.”
In response, Senior Engineer Gabriel Hynes said he didn’t have a definitive timeline to provide.
“We’re working through the design and trying to get ready so we can go to tender,” he said.
“We are proiritisng and working as best we can with the resources we have.”
