The number of people with COVID in University Hospital Waterford has fallen slightly.
On Thursday the General Manager reported there were 30 patients being treated for the virus on-site.
As of 8pm yesterday evening, that figure had dropped back to 25.
One of those people is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.
Nationally, there are now 917 in hospital with Covid, of which 83 are in ICU - the lowest since November.
The ICU figure is the lowest since November, while the overall number has decreased by 24 since Thursday.
Meanwhile, those aged 16 to 29 can get their booster shot at the walk-in clinic in Waterford today.
The centre at the WIT Arena is open for those in that age group until 7.30 this evening.
Healthcare workers are also being catered for until 7.40.
While those looking to get either their first or second dose can do so until 12.30.
