Significant fines and bans to result from U15 hurling brawl

The fallout from a brawl at an under-15 hurling match in Waterford is set to result in a significant number of fines and bans.

The game was abandoned last month following a brawl involving players, backroom teams and supporters.

Ballygunner and Na Risigh's clash was abandoned on Monday July 15th following the brawl, footage of which was widely shared on social media.

Gardai investigated a report assault in the aftermath, and the report from referee Robbie Dunne was set to determine the course of proceedings.
