Two people have been arrested, in connection with a serious assault on a woman in Cork City.
Gardai were alerted to the incident on Grand Parade, at around 8:10pm last night.
The woman in her 20s was taken to Cork University Hospital, where her injuries are described as 'serious but non-life threatening'.
A man aged in his 20s and a woman aged in her teens were both arrested in relation to the incident.
They're being held at Bridewell and Toh-ker Garda stations, under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
