Two men remain in custody at Waterford Garda Station following a shooting on Monday.
A man in his 40s is still in a critical condition after being shot a number of times outside a shop on the Carrickpherish Road at 2:15pm.
A 27 year old woman who was also arrested was released without charge.
The two men, aged 30 and 32, are still being questioned by Gardaí.
