The final countdown is on to Dungarvan’s much-loved Trad music festival.

Mark your diary for headline gigs with Cherish the Ladies, Talisk and Danú, music workshops, dancing, pub sessions, youth buskers, CD launches, and free outdoor gig rig performances.

With the added lively music and festival atmosphere brought by the TuneFest festival the weekend of 21st to 23rd June is the ideal time for a weekend break to discover Dungarvan.

Dungarvan will jig into full festival swing from 21st-23rd June for TuneFest 2024, Ireland’s most exciting emerging traditional Irish music festival. With concerts, workshops, dancing, pub sessions, youth buskers, CD launches, and free outdoor performances, it's a weekend you won't want to miss.

TuneFest will bring together some of the most talented traditional Irish musicians and singers from Waterford, Ireland, and overseas. The festival promises a top-class experience with sessions, recitals, and an open-air gig rig showcasing the best of traditional Irish music, dance, and song. The event is family-friendly, with opportunities for young musicians to perform and learn.

Festival Highlights Include:

Friday, 21st June: Cherish the Ladies at 7:30 PM in Dungarvan Town Hall Theatre (SOLD OUT).

Saturday, 22nd June: Daytime Workshops, youth busking, and by night Talisk live in concert at Club Creation at 8 PM. Cherish the Ladies perform at 7:30 PM in Dungarvan Town Hall Theatre, extra date added to meet demand!

Sunday, 23rd June: CD launches at The Old Bank at 2 PM and Danú live in concert at The Park Hotel at 7:30 PM.

Headline concerts will take place each night of the three-day festival, featuring internationally renowned acts: Cherish the Ladies, Talisk, and Danú.

Due to a sold-out performance on Friday and increased demand, festival organisers have added a second show with the Irish American trad supergroup Cherish the Ladies on Saturday night, June 22nd at 7pm om Dungarvan Town Hall Theatre.

Tickets are NOW available on Eventbrite or at The Local gastropub in Dungarvan. These Grammy-nominated icons will light up Dungarvan with their spirited blend of traditional Irish music, powerful vocals, and electrifying step dancing and the second night is also expected to sell quickly.
