Emergency services are at the scene of a road traffic collision in the Tramore area.

The collision occurred this morning at approximately 8am near the Halfway House on the main Waterford to Tramore Road.

The road remains opened on one side but motorists are urged to avoid the area and to expect significant delays.

The extent of any injuries is not known at this time.
