A man in his 30s has been arrested following an assault in Tramore overnight.

The incident occurred at a premises in Tramore at approximately 11.30pm on Monday November 3rd.

A man in his 30s was hospitalised and is currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The man who was arrested was conveyed to Tramore Garda Station.

He is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Investigations are ongoing.
