Man (30s) suffers serious head injuries following Tramore assault

Gardaí in Tramore are seeking the public’s assistance to identify some youths believed to be involved in the serious assault of a man (30s) on Saturday night, May 11th.

The incident occurred at a bus stop in Tramore near the Old Railway Station.

The man sustained head and neck injuries as a result of this altercation and was later taken to University Hospital Waterford by ambulance.

The assault occurred on Saturday night between 11:10pm and 11:30pm at the bus stop.

There were a number of people were waiting for the 360 Bus service to Waterford at this time.

Gardaí are looking to identify two youths - one of whom was black and the second who was white, who were in the area at the time.
