Motorists are asked to avoid the busy Cork Road area in Waterford City at Kilbarry this afternoon.

Waterford City Fire Service is currently attending the scene of a truck fire near SETU.

There are delays as a result and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.

There are no reports of any injuries.
