Tournore Court Residents Association won the overall Waterford PPN Community & Voluntary Award at The Park Hotel, Dungarvan last night.
Now in its 20th year, the awards scheme is the only platform in Waterford to recognise and celebrate the commitment and vibrancy of the community and voluntary sector in Waterford.

Environment & Conservation - Top of the City Gardens

Social Enterprise - Access IT
Social Inclusion & Community Support - Surprise Surprise Dungarvan & West Waterford
Spik & Span Best Kept Residential Area - Tournore Court Residents Association
Age Friendly Volunteer of the Year - Richie Purcell
Board/Committee Member of the Year - Billy Harty
Junior Volunteer of the Year - Eilish Norris
Overall Winner - Tournore Court Residents Association
This year’s awards were held in collaboration with BHP Insurance, Cairde Credit Union & Waterford Credit Union, Community Safety Partnership, Expressway, Local Link Waterford, South East Energy Agency, Waterford City & County Council and Waterford Volunteer Centre.
Tournore Court Residents Association will now represent Waterford on a national level at the Pride of Place Awards next year.
The awards are organised in association with WLR and the event was presented by Oliver Carroll from 'The Big Breakfast Blaa'.
