
Funeral details have been announced for Waterford cyclist Tomas Walsh, who tragically passed away recently following an accident in France.
Tributes have poured in for the 25-year-old since his passing, as he has been remembered as a wonderful person both on and off the bike.
Tomás will be reposing at Russian Side, Cheekpoint, Co. Waterford (X91 TY48), on Friday August 8th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm – house strictly private outside of these hours.
Requiem Mass will take place on Saturday August 9th at 12:00 noon in St. Nicholas Church, Faithlegg, Co. Waterford, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
Mass will be live streamed on Saturday from 12:00 noon. Family flowers only please, donations to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.
Predeceased by his grandparents Edward and Tom and his aunt Margaret, Tomas will be forever missed but always remembered by his heartbroken parents Frank and Bernie and his sisters Caoimhe and Bróna. He will be sadly missed by his grand parents Chrissie and Joan, his niece Molly, Caoimhe’s partner Paul, his aunts, uncles, cousins and his many, many friends especially those in the Comeragh Cycling Club..
