Tionól Nioclás Tóibín begins in Waterford's Gaeltacht parishes today.
The four-day music festival is a celebration of trad music and singing and gets underway with a concert tonight in the community hall in An Rinn at 7.
There'll be a mix of local and visiting musicians over the course of the weekend.
The annual Gradam Nioclás Tóibín will also be presented this evening to Mícheál Ó Maranáin and his late wife Mary.
Speaking to WLR, one of the organisers, Tomás Ó Gealbháin, says they have done immense work for traditional music.
"For 40 years they both put the music and the song and the language on the map in the county as far down as Kilmac," he said.
Hundreds are expected to attend a packed programme of traditional music, songs, and lectures in An Rinn and An Sean Phobal over the next few days.
Tomás says one of the highlights will be tomorrow evening's concert in the community hall in An Rinn.
"The tutors that are teaching on Saturday morning, the majority of them will feature in the concert," he said.
Diarmuid Ó'Meachair, Pádric Keane, and Becky Ní Éallaithe are just a few of the people set to perform.
