There was a slight increase in the live register in Waterford during the month of April.

There are now 6,899 people signing on in the City and County.

That’s an increase of 94 people since the end of March however, it’s 10 per cent lower than the same time last year.

It’s the second month in a row that the live register remains below 7,000.
