Waterford's Theatre Royal has been nominated for an IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year award.
It's made the shortlist as one of the top five venues in the Rest of Leinster category.
The winner will be decided by an open public poll.
Dermot Quinn, Heather Troy Whelan, and Sean O'Sullivan from the Theatre have also been nominated for overall Tech Team of the Year.
Speaking to WLR News, Theatre director Mary Boland says their work does not go unnoticed. She added: "It's our first time being nominated for this award. More importantly, our tech team has been nominated. We are all routing for them at the awards. Anybody who has come in for any event knows Dermot and the team and how well everyone and our building is looked
after. That's what is being recognised by these awards. It is great to notice that somebody is watching and recognising us for these awards."
The IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Awards 2023 will take place on Tuesday, 14th March in The Sugar Club, Leeson St. Lower, Dublin 2.
