Gardaí have arrested and charged 10 individuals and seized approximately €85,000 cannabis as part of an Operation Thor day of action across the Wexford division yesterday (Friday).
Gardaí attached to Wexford Division conducted searches of a number of residential premises across the county.
During the search of a residential premises in north Co. Wexford, Gardaí uncovered a grow house operation and recovered approximately €43,000 of cannabis.
A search of a residential premises in the south of the county recovered an additional €42,000 of cannabis.
All drugs seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
As part of this operation, 10 individuals have been arrested and charged in relation to a number of offences including Burglary, Possession of Drugs for sale or supply, Criminal Damage and Theft.
A total of four people, one female in her thirties and three men, two in their thirties one in his forties, appeared before special sittings at Carlow and Kilkenny District Courts yesterday.
A man aged in his twenties is due to appear before the courts today (Saturday).
Four men and a woman have also been charged and bailed to appear before the courts at a later date.
