A teenage girl has died after the car she was traveling in crashed in the early hours of this morning. It happened near Baltinglass, County Wicklow at 5 AM this morning.
No other serious injuries were reported. The driver of the car, a male youth in his teens, was arrested on suspicion of offenses under the Road Traffic Act.
He is currently detained at a Garda Station in Wicklow.
The road at Slaney Park is currently closed with local diversions in place and Forensic Collision Investigators are examining the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
