Teen arrested over Carrick-On-Suir death
Gardaí investigating the murder of a man in County Tipperary have arrested a man in his late teens.
Ian Walsh (49), a former Irish Rail worker, was found unresponsive on the Cregg Road on August 4th.
This morning, Wednesday 20th August 2025, Gardaí arrested an adult man, aged in his late teens, in relation to the investigation.
The man is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Clare-Tipperary Division.
Gardaí commenced a murder investigation on August 7th.
Investigations are ongoing.
