A man is in a critical condition in University Hospital Waterford after getting into difficulty swimming in Tramore yesterday.
The 51-year-was recovered from the water by Tramore RNLI near the Guillamine at around 1:15pm.
He had gotten into difficulty about 100m from the swimming spot.
The man was rushed to UHW by ambulance, where his condition is described as critical this morning.
