Gardai in Waterford City are investigating a suspicious house fire which happened overnight.
It happened at around 4.20 am this morning at the Kilbarry halting site.
Nobody was in the house at the time and the Waterford Fire Service were quickly on scene and had the fire out by 5.00 am.
The scene was preserved and examined and Gardai are appealing to anyone with information or who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact them on 051 305300.
