Suspected petrol bomb attack in Waterford City

Gardai are in Waterford are investigating after what’s believed to be a petrol bomb was thrown over the wall of a house in the City.
It’s alleged to have happened at Hazel Terrace, Lisduggan at around 2.05am this morning.
The device was thrown into the yard and landed around 30 feet from the back door of the house.
No one was injured in the incident and the only damage caused was a scorch mark on the concrete.
A blue Toyota Avensis, which may have been involved, took off in the direction of Church Road around the time of the incident.
