Students nationwide, including those at SETU - will stage a 'walkout' at 11 minutes past 11 in protest of the cost-of-living crisis.
They are calling on the government to prioritise the cost of third level education and the accommodation crisis.
Beth O'Reilly, President of the Union of Students in Ireland, says that students want to show that they have had enough.
Pointing to an expected shortage of 20,000 student beds by 2024, the union has criticised the Government for not capping student rents and says Budget 2023 showed no commitment to solving the shortage.
"This protest is intended to show the force of the student movement. It's to show the mass of the student movement and really re-mobilise the student movement after years of being left by the wayside. We want to show that we're not taking these issues sitting down and that the government need to tackle the issues of the cost of living, the cost of accommodation and to address these issues at the root."
The union is also calling for the abolition of the Student Contribution Charge and wants the minimum wage to match the current living wage of €13.10 an hour.
