CareDoc Strike Continues Across South East as Further Action Planned for Christmas
Industrial action is continuing at CareDoc Services across the South East this afternoon, with unions confirming that further strike action is planned over the Christmas period unless the dispute is resolved.

Staff say the strike centres on a pay increase that they believe has already been funded by the HSE but has not been passed on to workers. Unions claim the HSE has provided more than €600,000 to CareDoc to cover the agreed increase, but employees say it has yet to be reflected in their wages.
CareDoc provides out-of-hours GP and urgent care services across Waterford and the wider South East, with staff warning that the ongoing dispute is having a significant impact on morale.
Nicola, a triage nurse with CareDoc Waterford, says workers feel deeply undervalued despite their experience and the critical role they play in frontline healthcare.
She says staff are highly trained and deal with vulnerable patients every day, often under intense pressure, and believes they are entitled to the same pay increases as other healthcare workers.
Unions are calling on CareDoc management to engage urgently and ensure the funding provided is distributed to staff, warning that disruption will continue unless progress is made.
CareDoc has yet to comment on the latest phase of industrial action.
