Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution if travelling today due to Storm Isha.
A Status Orange wind warning is in place for Waterford from 5pm today (Sunday) until 2am (Monday).
A section of the R680 at Whitfield between Kilmeaden and the Tramore Cross is blocked by a fallen tree.
There is also a fallen tree on Wolfe Tone Road in Dungarvan.
Waterford City and County Council is advising the public that Storm Isha is expected to bring disruption throughout the night that will have an impact into Monday.
Speaking to WLR News, Senior Engineer with the Council Gabriel Hynes advised motorists to avoid unnecessary journey.
