STORM BARRA: Plunkett Station in Waterford has reopened

Iarnród Eireann has said that normal services have now resumed at Plunkett Station, after flooding affected the railway lines earlier.

Services had been suspended between Waterford and Kilkenny, and bus transfers were in operation.

Storm Barra has affected travel right around Waterford - with a number of roads impassable due to fallen trees.

The Passage East Car Ferry remains suspended and the Prom in Tramore remains closed.
