A Stop and go system in place on the N25 following a nearby fire.
Gardaí and fire services are currently at the scene, near Ballyduff Lower GAA pitch and Haughton's pub.
It's understood an old building went on fire and visibility for road users is poor.
Traffic delays of about an hour are expected.
