A stolen religious statue taken from outside a home in St. John’s Park has been found and returned to its rightful owners.

The statue, which stood outside a property on German Road for more than 40 years, holds deep sentimental value for the family.

It originally belonged to the homeowner’s grandparents, and the family had recently restored it.

The family described the statue as irreplaceable due to its emotional and historical significance.

Its disappearance caused distress, particularly given recent family bereavements.

The family has thanked everyone who assisted, shared information, and sent warm wishes during the search.

They said they feel relieved and grateful to have the statue safely home again.
