Two new bridges are set to be installed at a popular walking area in Tramore.
The steel creations will replace the old wooden structures in Newtown Woods and will be put in place once Covid-19 restrictions allow.
However, the new bridges have been described as 'eyesores' after Waterford Council posted pictures online.

Waterford Green Party TD Marc Ó Cathasaigh was among those to react to the new bridges.
He asked whether they could have "designed a better-looking bridge for a beautiful area?"
