Multiple Status Yellow weather warnings are in place for six counties including Waterford this morning.

A wind warning is in place in Waterford, Cork, Kerry, and Wexford from 11am with gales likely.

A rain advisory has been issued for Cork and Kerry from 11am, with a similar advisory from midday for Galway and Mayo.

The UK Met Office has also issued a status yellow wind warning for the North.
