A status yellow weather warning is in place for Waterford this morning.
The alert for rain came into effect at 3am and covers all of Munster and Galway too.
Met Éireann says spells of rain today will be very heavy at times, leading to spot flooding.
The warning is in effect until 3 o'clock this afternoon.
