Waterford will be under a Status Yellow weather warning this afternoon.

The warning for rain comes into effect at 12pm and is valid until 6pm.

Met Éireann is warning of blustery rain with spot flooding which will lead to difficult travelling conditions in places.

Other impacted counties are Carlow, Dublin, Kilkenny, Wexford and Wicklow.
