Status orange rain warning in place until 9pm

A status orange rain warning is in place for County Waterford until 9pm this evening.

There has been significant rainfall across the county, with snow reported in parts, and localised flooding in multiple areas.

Emergency services and Waterford Council crews are currently working to clear impassible roads.

The rain warning is also in place for Carlow, Kilkenny, Wicklow and Wexford.
