A special tribute to Katie Houlihan has been unveiled at the historic Waterford location which she loved so much.
Katie died in a road traffic accident near Tramore in February and has been fondly remembered at the Knights Templar graveyard in Kilbarry where she volunteered with her beloved grandfather Paddy.
An event was held at the graveyard today to recognise the huge community efforts which have been undertaken in recent times to promote and preserve the site.
Mayor of Waterford City and County Council Cllr Jason Murphy attended and a special blessing was performed by Parish Priest Fr Pat Fitzgerald - including at 'Katie's Corner'.
