Social Democrats co-founder Roisin Shortall was in Waterford City this afternoon.
She visited a number of locations in the city centre and surrounding areas and was accompanied by the party's local Councillor Mary Roche and party members.
Cllr Roche is contesting the upcoming General Election in Waterford for the party.
Roisin Shortall has strong Déise connections as her husband Seamus is a native of Griffith Place.
