Smyths Toys is recalling various 'Dig' products due to absestos concerns in the sand based toys. The range of toys offer children an archaeological-type dig experience for fossils, gems, and more. Children 'dig' or scrape away the hard sand to uncover the hidden items buried inside. However, concerns that some of the products may contain asbestos means some of the products have been recalled. The products are:

Smyths Toys has advised households with the items to use gloves, face masks, and to double-bag the items. Their advice is then to contact the local authority for advice on disposal of the item.
