Snow is forecast to fall around the country over the coming days.

Met Eireann has issued a status yellow snow-ice warning for the entire country from tomorrow morning until Saturday.

The North and West of the country can be expected to see the worst of the weather.

Meteorologist Matthew Martin gives his outlook for Waterford and the South East region:

“Wintry showers tomorrow morning but then lots of bright, dry weather through Tuesday and Wednesday, with just isolated wintry flurries

“There could be a more organised area of rain, sleet and snow on Thursday.

“The showers for Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be very isolated in this part of the country.

“The precipation that’s going to move in on Thursday will impact this area too.”
