A site with planning permission already granted for the development of 292 homes has entered the market in County Waterford.
The site in question lies at the Greenway Park on the Cork Road in Waterford City – with the 17.35 acre site currently holding a guide price of €6.75m from selling agent Savills.
As initially reported by the Irish Independent, the approved development would consist of a mix of six four-bed detached and semi-detached houses, and 160 three-bed houses, comprising semi-detached, detached and terraced units.
In addition, the plans permit four three-storey apartment blocks with 60 two-bedroom duplex units and a five-storey apartment block containing 34 one-beds and 32 two-bed age-friendly apartments. There is also a standalone creche building.
The lands are being sold by Monaco Developments – who seek to retain an adjoining 4.65 acres for a commercial project. The Greenway lands previously accommodated Waterford Crystal Sports and Leisure Centre.
