Seven Waterford schools feature in Irish Top 400

St. Augustine's in Dungarvan was best placed of those coming in at 134th.

St. Angela's Ursuline Convent was highest ranked of the City schools at 154th leaping up 45 places from last year.

Also featured were Meanscoil san Nioclas in An Rinn (203), Ard Scoil na nDeise in Dungarvan (226), Newtown School in the City (309), Scoil na mBraithre in Dungarvan (320) and Blackwater Community School in Lismore (322).

The Sunday Times/Parent Power Best Schools placed Laurel Hill Coláiste in Limerick at the top of the table.

The listing is based on the percentage of students who go on to university or third level.
