The theme of hope and growth is supported by Grow HQ in the city and they have provided seeds for those attending the services to take home and plant.
There will be poetry and music from the Waterford Trinity Gospel Choir and those attending the service will be invited to participate by lighting candles and placing the name of their loved one on a tree of hope that will be planted afterward.
The service takes place this afternoon in christ church cathedral at 3:30.
