Gardai in Waterford are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Waterford City.
The assault occurred in the early hours of Sunday December 8th in the Poleberry area - at approximately 02:30am.
The injured party suffered serious facial injuries as a result of this attack and was conveyed to University Hospital Waterford.
Gardai in Waterford are following a definite line of inquiry and are looking for three male suspects.
A statement issued to WLR News reads: "We are seeking assistance from the public in relation to anyone who may have information relating to this incident or the 3 males to contact Waterford Garda Station on 051 305-300."
