South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association have thanked the walkers who are staying away from the hills.
They successfully rescued a sheepdog who got stuck high above Coumshingaun lake yesterday.

She was helping round up sheep ahead of the lambing season when she got stuck.
A team of 7 responded and brought the dog to safety.
They added that no other walkers were seen on the mountain or at the carparks during the incident.
