South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association have thanked the walkers who are staying away from the hills.
They successfully rescued a sheepdog who got stuck high above Coumshingaun lake yesterday.
The rescue of a working sheep dog Ruby high up on the cliffs above Coumshingaun yesterday was a prolonged operation but there was no time pressure and it is a good example of the skills we have developed in heights rescue down the years.
