Following the discovery of a man's body yesterday evening, the missing person appeal for Edward Prendergast (30) has been stood down.
Edward had last been seen in the Jamespark area of Kilkenny City at approximately 12.50am on Tuesday 16th April.
Gardaí have thanked the media and public for their assistance.
