Roadworks to recommence at Waterford City traffic hotspot

Waterford City and County Council have announced that roadworks are due to recommence at the Farronshoneen Roundabout tomorrow (Tuesday).

The Council has decided to undertake the works in the evening, compared to previous months when they were carried out during the day causing significant delays.

The following information was issued by Waterford City and County Council.

"Resurfacing works at The Farronshoneen roundabout are due to commence on the night of Tuesday, February 6th, and will continue until the night of Thursday, February 15th (excluding Saturday and Sunday nights).

"All work will be carried out at night between the hours of 7 pm and 3 am.
"Traffic management will be in place at the roundabout during these periods and some delays to traffic and noise disturbance to surrounding properties can be expected.
"Waterford City and County Council apologies for inconvenience caused."
