One person has been taken to University Hospital Waterford what's been described at serious, but non-life threatening injuries after a collision in County Waterford this afternoon.

It's thought that two cars were involved in the incident, which happened on the road between Jack Meade's Pub and Faithlegg.

Gardaí and emergency services have examined the scene and the road has now been re-opened.
