Emergency services are attending the scene of a crash this morning.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision that happened shortly after 8 o'clock on the N24.
Gardaí say a stretch between Piltown and Carrick-on-Suir has now been closed and is likely to remain closed for an hour or two.
Drivers are being urged to use an alternative route.

It's understood no life-threatening injuries have been sustained by those involved.
It comes as a Yellow weather warning for wind and rain has been issued by Met Éireann for the entire country, which will remain in place until 9pm.
