A man has been rescued from the River Suir having gotten into difficulty earlier this afternoon.
Waterford City River Rescue and emergency services were tasked to the scene at 2.23pm.
The man was recovered from the water at 2.45pm and an ambulance crew was on site to bring the man to University Hospital Waterford for treatment.
He is expected to make a full recovery.
