Waterford FC assistant manager Alan Reynolds is finally set to be unveiled as the new Bohemians FC manager after the two clubs have agreed a compensation package for his release.
Following the departure of Declan Devine from The Gypsies, Reynolds quickly became the firm favourite for the job.
It is believed that a deal was struck earlier today, that will see him take over at Dalymount Park later this week, ahead of their big clash with Shamrock Rovers on Friday evening.
Reynolds, who was twice manager of the Blues, returned to the RSC last season where he linked up with Keith Long in what fans termed the dream team.
There were rumours earlier this year that the Tramore native would rejoin Derry City where he had been assistant but he elected to stay in the South East.
It remains to be seen if Reynolds will retain his position as assistant manager to Jim Crawford in the Ireland Under 21 set up.
Long will come face to face with his former assistant in eleven days time as Waterford FC face Bohs in Dalymount on Friday week.
