Dental records show that skeletal remains found at a house in Youghal are those of missing Tina Satchwell.
Results of DNA analysis on samples taken from the remains found at her home on Grattan Street in the town yesterday are not yet available to investigating Gardaí.
However, it is understood that Gardaí have been given a number of other indications to corroborate the fact that the remains are those of Ms Satchwell.
The development comes as a man in his 50s continues to be questioned by Gardai in Cobh Garda Station.
He was arrested yesterday and must be either charged or released by this evening.
His arrest came after a body was discovered in Ms Satchwell’s home on Grattan Street yesterday.
