Met Éireann updates its rainfall warning for Waterford

Met Éireann has updated its status yellow rainfall warning for Waterford.

The warning for Munster, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford, Kildare, Dublin, Wicklow, Laois and Offaly comes into effect at 5pm this evening.

It's in place until 7am tomorrow morning, Sunday September 29th.

Heavy rain is expected with total amounts of 25 to 35 mm possible and a risk of spot flooding.

Motorists are being urged to exercise caution this evening and overnight.
